Examples of Client Engagements
Social Communications Coaching and Implementation: An Executive Director of a nonprofit knew she had to embrace social media on Facebook and Twitter. Her webmaster had created the accounts but she didn’t know how to use them. Becky sat side-by-side with her to coach her through posts, uploads and tweets and explained best practices for engagement and privacy. The client had a few questions after Facebook rolled out some changes. Becky responded with phone calls and screencast (digital recordings of computer screen displays) videos.
Compliance: A Client received an IRS tax notice and asked Becky to interpret and translate it into terms that were meaningful to her. Becky doesn’t practice before the IRS but her nine years of tax auditing with the South Carolina Department of Revenue allows her to comprehend the issues and offer suggestions for problem resolution.
Crisis Management and Process Review: A disabling illness of a nonprofit Executive Director resulted in an untimely resignation. The board of directors took advantage of this transitional opportunity and hired Becky to review their operation processes and audit controls.
